Reservation Fee

We take an initial reservation fee of £25 which is fully refundable.

Unfunded Children

​

We currently charge £6.50 per hour (session rate - £19.50) for unfunded children.

A minimum of two 3 hour sessions are required. 

 

All parents will receive an invoice or a receipt (for the funded children) at the beginning of each half-term period. This indicates how many hours their child will be attending and the total amount payable.

 

Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash or cheques payable to:

High Littleton Pre-School

It is greatly appreciated if fees can be paid promptly. They must be paid before the end of each half-term to avoid losing your child’s place.

 

Fees are reviewed annually.

 

Funded Children 

Children are entitled to funding from BANES from the term after their third birthday.

3 to 4-year-olds

You can start claiming free childcare after your child turns 3. The date you can claim will depend on when their birthday is.

 

When you can claim - if your childs birthday is between:

 

• 1 January to 31 March, you can claim from the beginning of term on or after 1 April

• 1 April to 31 August, you can claim from the beginning of term on or after 1 September

• 1 September to 31 December, you can claim from the beginning of term on or after 1 January

Our Pre-School is responsible for applying for this funding and the children’s entitlement will be paid directly to High Littleton Pre-School.

 

Funding forms will be issued at the beginning of each term and must be filled in and returned to the Pre-School. We must have sight of a birth certificate as proof of your child's date of birth.

Should your child attend more than one setting, it is possible for this funding to be split with another setting. Obviously, if the total hours attended at both settings exceeds the entitlement, fees will be applicable.

Leaving Pre-School

 

We require a term's notice if your child is leaving.  This gives us adequate time to notify the next person on the waiting list that a place is available. If you leave mid term and are fee paying, we reserve the right to bill you for the remainder of the term.
